Employee fundraising

Events
Taking part in an event to raise money for The Connection at St Martin's is a fun and challenging way for your employees to get involved with us. Your employees might be interested in running the Flora London Marathon or the British 10K for us as we have a number of guaranteed places for these events each year.

Whatever your employees requirements, we can find an event that suits them and we will provide them with all the necessary fundraising support and information along the way.

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is an easy and tax-effective way for your employees to make charitable donations straight from their pay. Whatever each employee pledges every month is worth even more to The Connection at St Martin’s because the money is deducted before tax.

If your company already offers a Payroll Giving scheme, your employees should simply ask your payroll department to deduct regular charitable donations from their pay, telling them the amount that they would like to be deducted each month and to which charity. Many companies now match the employee’s gift, providing further incentives for your staff to take part.

Staff from our charity would be delighted to come and talk to your staff about the payroll giving scheme.

If your payroll department would like to set up a Payroll Giving Scheme they can contact the Inland Revenue on 0151 472 6029/6053 or in Scotland 0131 777 4040 or visit www.givingcampaign.org.uk.
