The measures that were initially put in place for people who were homeless during the pandemic were incredibly successful. This is a stark contrast to the usual health outcomes for people who sleep rough. As the pandemic and subsequent lock downs continued we faced a lack of suitable bed spaces. In response, and based on our learnings from the emergency hotel accommodation, we opened a project in a hotel that we call The Bridge.
A hotel that bridges the gap between the streets and independence.
Many people make The Bridge the success that it is and we want to introduce them to you so you can see what it takes to build the bridge. You are a part of The Bridge too.
It costs us £42,191 a month to run The Bridge and we aim to raise that over the next month.
This project is delivered in partnership with Westminster City Council, who provide equal funding to ourselves.
