This spring we're asking you to support our Connecting People Appeal

At The Connection we support people sleeping rough in central London.

We get to know every person we work with. It often starts with a chat or a coffee and the chance for someone to build a relationship with one of our team. Relationships are key to working with someone to move away from the streets and identifying how we can help. Any time on the streets can cause someone to lose trust with society; they’ve been let down and left with nowhere else to turn. At The Connection we are there.

This Spring we’re asking you to support our connecting people appeal. Our work is about listening to people, building up trust and understanding, so we can discover what someone needs next. It could be advice on finding somewhere to live, opportunities to gain skills, grow their confidence, self-belief and chances of work. It’s always about treating every person as a human being. And ultimately, it’s about finding a way off the streets and a place to call home.

You can read more about our work through the stories of the people that work in our teams below.
