Pam joined The Connection in April from Providence Row, the East London based homelessness organisation, where she was CEO since June 2011.
She’s worked in the charity sector for 25 years and specialises in organisational innovation and change and has worked across the public and private sector to achieve this. During her time at Providence Row the charity launched several new services including an award-winning accredited trainee scheme (which came second at last year’s London Homelessness Awards and won a Social Justice Award in 2014). Providence Row also launched a new drug and alcohol service (as part of the Tower Hamlets Reset service) in October this year and a learning and wellbeing activities programme. Pam has also overseen the launch of the social enterprise Rise Bakery.
Prior to joining Providence Row, Pam was the Deputy Chief Executive of Edinburgh Cyrenians. In her spare time Pam’s a keen cyclist and is a regular cycle tourer in the UK and other countries.
Pam replaced Colin Glover who led The Connection since its formation in 2003.
