Our ConnecTED series are a chance for you to find out more about homelessness from people at the front-line.
April ConnecTED: a year on since lock-downWhen: April 1, 13.00-14.00
You are warmly invited to join us as we reflect on a year since the UK’s lock-down- and what this has meant for the people we work with.
From 2017-2019 the numbers of people sleeping rough increased by a staggering 79%. At The Connection we were seeing upwards of 200 people a day needing immediate practical relief, and longer term support. Since March 2020 when the UK went into lock-down, everything had to change.
Please join to hear from our Engagement Lead, Karen Savant as she reflects through the year The Connection have had since lock-down and what this has meant for the people we work with. We’ll also be looking towards what 2021 might mean for rough sleeping in Westminster.
April’s ConnecTED will be held through Zoom. You’ll receive joining instructions closer to the event date.
