Have a ballot place already?

If you have a ballot place and would like to fundraise for The Connection do let us know! We’d love to keep you updated with where your fundraising is going, and can send you a running vest plus provide a place in our post-race reception.

Who are The Connection?

Located in the heart of Westminster, we’re one of London’s busiest homelessness centres, working in direct contact with vulnerable homeless rough sleepers all year round. Being a local organisation, we don’t have the overheads that others do, and can promise you that 91p in every £1 will be spent on helping homeless people. Running for us means you will be directly supporting the homeless people who need your help most, through our services which enable people to access housing, employment training, and professional support to overcome personal issues.

What support will we give you?

We’ll be sending you a high-quality running vest, personalised with your name.
Advice on training and support to achieve your fundraising target.
We’ll also be inviting you and your friends and family into our centre for a post-race Reception, where you can relax with a complimentary massage, hot shower, and selection of hot and cold food and drinks, and so that we can say a massive thank you!

What difference will you be making?

  • £2,000 could enable 6 vulnerable homeless rough sleepers to have a course of specialist one-to-one mental health support sessions which will help them to positively cope with their problems and move forward. Considering that approximately two thirds of homeless people living on the streets have mental health problems which are often severely hindering their ability to move on from the streets, that is a massive contribution.
