If you have a ballot place and would like to fundraise for The Connection do let us know! We’d love to keep you updated with where your fundraising is going, and can send you a running vest plus provide a place in our post-race reception.
Who are The Connection?

The Connection have been supporting people sleeping rough to move away from the streets for over 100 years. We get to know each person we work with. Many have been pushed to the edge, and they all have their own challenges to overcome.
Everyone needs to find their own way home, but we go with them every step of the journey. It often starts with a chat, the offer of a coffee and perhaps a hot meal or shower. Simple things that aren’t easy when you are living on the streets. We work with people to recover from the streets so that they can move on to a meaningful, fulfilling and settled life, long into the future.
What support will we give you?
– A high-quality running vest, personalised with your name.
– Advice on training along with tips throughout your journey
– Expert fundraising support from our dedicated events team to help you achieve your fundraising target
– A fundraising pack full of great ideas
– We’ll also be inviting you and your friends and family into our centre for a post-race Reception, where you can relax with a complimentary massage, hot shower, and selection of hot and cold food and drinks, and so that we can say a massive thank you!
