It cost £4.6M last year to keep our services fully operational all year round. We are really fortunate to receive support from a diverse range of funders including members of the public, The Friends of The Connection, community & faith groups, local companies, trusts, foundations & statutory sources, and the BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal.
There are lots of ways you can start making real changes to homeless people’s lives. You could donate by either:
- Making a one-off donation – big or small, it all makes a difference
- Making a regular donation by direct debit so your donation has an impact on our work all year round. This type of support is especially valuable; it allows us to plan ahead so that we can help homeless people in the most effective way possible.
- Making a regular donation by Payroll Giving – if you are on a higher tax bracket, and your employer supports this scheme, it is a tax-effective way to give
Or you might like to get creative and put together your own fundraiser at home, at work, or with your local community, collectively making a difference. For instance, you could hold a cake & coffee morning with friends, family or colleagues, with profits helping fund our work.
If your workplace is looking for a charity to support, you can find more information on our Partnerships page.
If sport is your thing, or you are looking to challenge yourself to achieve something new, you can actively help end rough sleeping by taking part in one of our challenges – we have walking, running & cycling events to choose from, so there’s something to suit everyone, whether you’re new to sport, or want to push yourself further.
Whatever your wish, we are here to help you in whatever way we can. To discuss in more detail and find out more ways to raise funds for homeless people, please call 020 7766 5555 or email.
