Event: Pilgrimage 2026

Pilgrimage 2026 to Canterbury is an annual event held over the late May bank holiday weekend – 22nd to 25th May 2026.

We will walk the 74-mile route from Trafalgar Square to Canterbury, leaving on Friday morning from St Martin-in-the-Fields and arriving at Canterbury on Monday afternoon. Walking in Chaucer’s footsteps you’ll get to meet a wonderful and diverse group of The Connection’s supporters, some homeless, most not, but all enjoying the lively company, the spectacular countryside and the delicious food we have along the way!

Registration for the 2026 Pilgrimage now closed. For any enquiries, putting names in the waiting list, or to find out more, please contact Eugene Ling, Pilgrimage Co-ordinator, on 020 7766 5555 or eugene.ling@cstm.org.uk, or you may find answers in Pilgrimage FAQ.

Last year, the Pilgrimage raised over £44,000 for our services, this year we hope to raise even more in our 4-day Pilgrimage weekend! For individuals wanting a target or an extra challenge, we are suggesting a target of £300, this could fund one person into employment, so they can leave the streets behind them for good.
