After sleeping rough for three years, Stafie came to The Connection looking for support and stability. Outreach workers first connected with him on the streets and encouraged him to access the service.

Since then, Stafie has relied on The Connection for essentials many of us take for granted — food, showers and practical day-to-day support. Speaking about the service, he simply said: “Very good. They’ve helped me with absolutely everything.”

Before becoming homeless, Stafie had been working in Doncaster. Now, with support to secure the right paperwork, he hopes to return to work and rebuild his independence. He is optimistic about finding employment again, potentially working as a delivery driver for Amazon, and eventually returning to Doncaster.

With support from donors, The Connection can continue helping people like Stafie move away from homelessness and towards a safer, more stable future.
