Event: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon Sunrise)

Take on one of the UK’s most unforgettable charity challenges with Team Connection.

The Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Sunrise Challenge is a unique overnight mountain trek to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain. Guided by experienced Mountain Leaders, you’ll climb under the stars and witness the sunrise over the stunning landscapes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

Popular with walkers by day, Yr Wyddfa becomes a completely different experience at night — peaceful, challenging and unforgettable. Reaching the summit as dawn breaks is a magical moment you’ll remember forever.

About the challenge:

After meeting at Snowdon Mountain Railway Station in the early hours, participants will be welcomed and briefed by qualified Mountain Leaders before setting off along the Llanberis Path.

Walking by head torch through the darkness, you’ll experience Yr Wyddfa in a way few people ever do — quiet, atmospheric and incredibly rewarding. Your guides will set a steady pace with regular rest stops to ensure everyone feels supported throughout the climb.

As the first light of dawn appears across the mountains, you’ll reach the summit in time to witness a spectacular sunrise over Eryri National Park — a breathtaking and emotional moment shared with fellow challengers.
